Yu Tse Heng

Yu Tse Heng is a PhD candidate in Management at the University of Washington Michael G. Foster School of Business. Her research program focuses on how organizations can humanize the employee work experience by harnessing the power of positive psychology. Her research broadly examines how compassion, forgiveness, and gratitude can be beneficial for employee work behaviors as well as well-being.


Yu Tse's research has been published in, or is undergoing revision at management outlets such as the Academy of Management Journal and psychology outlets such as the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology. At the Foster School of Business, Yu Tse teaches leadership and organizational behavior in the undergraduate program as well as the global business program for international professionals.


Prior to pursuing her graduate studies at Foster, Yu Tse graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor degree in Psychology (First Class Honors). She then worked as the laboratory manager of the NUS I/O Psychology Lab.
